CWGC100 exhibition – Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

The CWGC honours the 1.7 million men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died in the First and Second World Wars. Designed in collaboration with One&More Ltd, this exhibition celebrates 100 years of a remarkable organisation.

A monumental story in a minuscule space.

Housed in the Canada Building at Brookwood Military Cemetery, ‘For then. For now. Forever’ displays previously unseen archival materials and artefacts to tell the CWGC’s remarkable story from founding through to modern day.

Faced with the restrictions of a Grade 1 listed building, we created a ‘room-within-a-room’ using a free standing timber frame to house the exhibition. Graphics are printed direct to birch plywood panels and artefacts displayed in bespoke plywood box frames, beautifully made by Derbyshire Framers, London.
