Elizabeth Line collection – Transport for London.

The line formerly known as Crossrail will stretch more than 60 miles from west to east London. These four posters were commissioned to coincide with the opening of the line… which is still to be confirmed!

Arriving soon?

This set of four posters was commissioned by London Transport Museum and TfL to coincide with the opening of the brand new Elizabeth Line. Inspired by the bygone age of transport posters with a contemporary twist. I was briefed to create a memorable design for the set that can be expanded over time.

An exaggerated vanishing point perspective creates a strong sense of movement for the trains, which are set against iconic architecture, environments and skies. The deliberately reduced colour palette uses Elizabeth Line livery colours with a unique accent block colour for each destination. Hopefully arriving at a station near you soon!

A collection of homeware, textiles and accessories was also designed to launch alongside the posters, replacing location specific imagery with geometric shapes and colour blocks. As with the posters, the designs are set up to allow for different colours and layouts to adapt to fit a wide range of product shapes and sizes.
