How do you explain the huge issues facing the planet to and audience of 7–12 year olds? The solution was to avoid blatant green-wash and create a 'game of life' in a bright, exciting, arcade-like environment. Four characters lead you through themed zones of interactive design challenges such as 'future transport', 'future food' and 'home of the future'. RFID cards track the results, leading to a final 'Future City' conclusion zone where an ever evolving city scape allows visitors to view the City they've designed and consider the consequences of their decisions. Produced during my time at ico Design.
